Gabala, keeping up their successful run at Molodav"s Tiraspol U15 International Cup, have beaten Sheriff in the semifinal match today. The win earned Gabala a tally to the final.

The pace of the match started by quick attacks of Gabala. Keeping the possession at all lines, the students of Huseyngulu Guliyev made their first result early on, right in the 3rd minute with Joshgun Suleymanov- 1:0. After 8 minutes, Gabala doubled their lead when Joshgun scored his second. Gabala set up some more threats at the other end to ensure they protected the two-goal lead until half-time, but they were off target.

It was Gabala again being faster after the interval and they went too close to making it 3:0 by counter attacks. But they saw their efforts tipped wide of goal in the early part of the second half. Arriving at the hour mark, Gabala keeper Suleyman Suleymanov gave a great save deflecting penalty. Two minutes later on, Sheriff were punished again by Farid Nabiyev scoring in the winner. Gabala, staying up unbeaten 4 matches on the trot, moved onto the final match of the international tournament against Children"s and Youth Sports School. Cast your mind back to the earlier group stage where the red-black squad overtook the Ukrainian team with 2:1.
