| Gabala Сity Stadium was constructed attached to Tobacco Factory in 1985. The area is 6 hectares. There are little training fields in the stadium together with the basic one. The restoration of the stadium has started since 2005. Plastic seats were set up and the seating capacity of the stadium became 2,000 in that period. And meantime the pitch was also renewed. The cloak-rooms that meet modern standards, artesian wells for to solve water problem, and gyms for the football players were started to be used in 2006. It has been decided to have through repairs for the stadium since 2007. And for this purpose the construction of the subsidiary pitch next to the main pitch has started. After the subsidiary pitch is ready, the main pitch will be closed for construction in accordance with the European standards. The pitch will be changed, stand and elector indicator board will be installed. Artificial pitches will be constructed in parallel.
At present 11 persons work in Gabala City Stadium. The Stadium director is Arif Bakhishov.
