Gabala’s five challengers came on the canvas of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in its sixth day. After Milad Beigi Harchegani (80 kg) hit the gold medal of the taekwondo championship, the other four challengers won semifinal and gained at least a silver medal.

Javid Chalabiyev (60 kg) defeated Sultan Zaurbay (Kazakhstan) with 4:1. Now he is going to face Ammar Karbalai (Iraq) in the final tomorrow. 

Tamerlan Abdullayev (69 kg) won over Ilya Ochki by 4:0 and now will meet with Bobo-Usman Baturov tomorrow. Kamran Shahsuvarly (75 kg) knocked out Yuness Garrumini (Morocco) before facing Tursunbay Kulahmet (Kazakhstan) in the final tomorrow.

Rauf Rahimov (81 kg) gained technical victory in the semifinal as Abdelrahman Abdelgavvadin (Egypt) didn’t show up because of his injury. Our challenger will meet with Arslanbek Achilov (Turmenistan) in the final tomorrow.
