Gabala have ended Azerbaijan Premier League match against AZAL in 1:1 within the 23rd tour, today, just ahead of the break because of the national team games. The pace of the match started by quick attacks from Gabala, coached by Roman Grigorchuk. But AZAL didn’t allow the visitors to gain full lead. The course of the match went on by mutual attacks until the half-time, and during the period, Daniel Subotic gave some troubles to the host keeper.

Grigorchuk changed Weeks with Rashad Eyubov but it didn’t help scoring in the first half.

The second period started by mutual attacks. But Gabala’s inroads into the opponent defense looked more pulsating led to the opening goal when Eyubov’s perfect pass found Mammadov seeing his shot denied by the defense. And Gurbanov capitalized on the returned ball and forwarded to Mutallimov gave a great shot past the keeper.

Then Subotic went too close to doubling Gabala’s lead coming one-on-one with the keeper but he failed to score. Ozobic’s kick from a corner of the box set another threat to the home side. Introduced Sergei Zenjov came one-on-one with the AZAL keeper and his goal was cancelled by the defensive line. Later on, a post denied Gabala’s Asif.

Just seven minutes before the final whistle, Voislav Stankovic’s shot was deflected by the keeper.

AZAL’s Nugzar Kvirtia leveled in the box after Dmytro Bezotosniy’s basic mistake on 90 minutes.
