Gabala have punished Mil-Mughan by a clean-sheet victory ith eight goals in the Azerbaijan Cup’s round of 16 tonight. The opener as scored by Javid Huseynov in the 30th minute. Roman Grigorchuk’s red-black men lead as tripled after to more goals by Ruslan Gurbanov and Filip Ozobic just before the break.

After the restart, Ulvi Isgandarov scored the fourth shortly before Ozobic sealed his double. Later on, Gabala scored two more with Ekigho Ehiosun and Hajiagha Hajiyev. And Ozobic showed his value once again with his third goal on the show. This was registered as the first triple by the Croatian.

After the final whistle, Gabala repeated their record of eight goals since beating Sharur in the First Division in 2005 and defeating Neftchi in the Premier League in 2016, both ended in 8:0.

Now the red-black squad are going to face Sabail in the round of 8 to be held December 10 to 11 and the return matches are fixed to December 14 to 15.
