Gabala and Barcelona starting next period of collaboration

The Gabala-Barselona collaboration is evolving into the next stage. As it was planned well before, coaching staff of our academy will visit Barcelona after the earlier period of the collaboration in last December, when the coaching group of the world-class football club managed a 10-day training seminar in Gabala.

The Gabala staff for the trip of 3-11 February consists of Ali Yavash (director of Gabala Academy, trip leader), Nail Kerimov (Academy deputy director), Halim Ficici (Head of Youth Football Development Program), Famil Khalilov (U-17 coach), Eldaniz Suleymanov (U-16 coach), Huseyngulu Guliyev (U-15 coach) and Sardar Gafarov (U-14 coach). The group will watch championship performances of the Barcelona youth before viewing the Barcelona vs Real Sociedad match at Camp Nou on 4 February. The further days are intended to meet the first team, coaches and Academy members of Barcelona, as well as La Masia which is home to the Barcelona youth squad, before visiting the Academy senior board. 

Another acquaintances are fixed on governing system of the club and also coaching tactics, attending the training operations of all age groups as the conclusion of the seminar held in Gabala last December.

In May, Gabala will be visited again by Josep Moratalla with the same coaching group that run the December seminar and the Spaniards will review the effects of the earlier training actions. Further stage of the proceedings will be planed as well.
