Today, Gabala have beat Ravan 3:0 at home in the 7th tour of the Topaz Premier League. The red-black side were just one point away from the top of the league table staying at the 3rd tier after 6 matches. The victory allows the team of head coach Yuri Semin to keep the lead up at least for a day.

The pace of the match started by quick attacks from Gabala. Having the lead, the home side scored 2 goals in the early 10 minutes. Daniel Subotic opened the scoring in the 8th minute, when he shot home afetr having a superior cross from Victor Mendy. After the goal, Ravan looked lost and got the second ball in their net when Levin met a cross from Leonardo Da Silva with a header - 2:0. It could have been much worse for the visitors until the end of the half but Gabala"s some many efforts did not worked out.
 
It was Gabala being faster again at the pace of the second period. It seemed as a matter of time before Gabala tripled their lead on 53 minutes when Victor Mendy came one on one with the Ravan keeper before his first effort was deflected. Then arriving the ball fastest of all, Leonardo Da Silva was fouled in the box. Head referee looked having no doubt about the case pointing right to the spot before Silva fired home.

With the minutes left, Gabala"s Dodo, Afolabi and Subotic looked much close to scoring the 4th to bitterly punish Ravan, but they were wrong-footed. The clean sheet victory with 3:0 let Gabala to move up to the top of the league table.
