Gabala became European Club Association member

SC Gabala became a member of European Club Association as one of Azerbaijan’s three clubs having the title during the 2017/18 season. The red-black team appears to be an associative status in the list where Neftchi and Qarabagh are the domestic sides with full-fledged title. They all are among 220 clubs from 53 countries, including 10 new teams:

Gabala, Leipzig (Germany), Lazio (Italy), La Fiorita (San-Marino), Kairat (Kazakhstan), Kalju (Estonia), Vikingur (Farer islands), Krasnodar (Russia), Botev Plovdiv (Bulgaria) and AEK (Cyprus).

The new sides, also Gabala, were presented to the 9th Assembly of the ECA in Geneva, Switzerland. Gabala was represended by general manager Zaur Azizov.
