UEFA has revealed record list of the Europa League group stage. The continental football body provides a look back into the last 7 seasons, also key facts about the clubs playing in the group stage of the 2016-2017 season.
Gabala got in the UEFA”s record list as one of the 2 clubs struggling all the way through from the 1st Qualifying Round to the group stage this season. The red-black side are also the 8th team succeeding the way in the EL history.
Roman Grigorchuk”s side won 4 rounds two seasons in a row to equal the record with Rosenberg (Norway), hitting the same title in 2012-2013 and 2015-2016. But Gabala seems as a better side while their group stage successes in two seasons were gained on the trot.
