Gabala officials in Donetsk

A number of Gabala senior officials, including general manager Zaur Azizov, first team coach Ibrahim Bakir and selector Ismayil Aliyev made visitation to Donetsk as the next step within the collaboration with FC Shakhtar of Ukraine. The two day arrival aims to pick some new footballers, Azizov reveals more details about this talking to gabalafc.az:

-- “We were invited by Shakhtar to see performances of their main and reserve teams against Zorya. As you know, some students of the Shakhtar Academy play for different Ukrainian league teams on contracts. Shakhtar encouraged us to watch and bear in mind playing skills of those teams. We discussed possibilities of transferring some young promising substitutes from Shakhtar to Gabala. I watched those matches with Ibrahim and Ismayil”.

“Different players drew our eyes” – Zaur says:

“After the matches, we both sides converged on talks where Ibrahim and Ismayil said some certain reserve players may be of good choose. But it can be hasty to make resolution with just one match, so we are going to discuss situation of those footballers with Shakhtar officials. If the sides come to early common consent, then we will have at least one more watch on their live performance, as well as in video records”.

Highly valuing the extending collaboration, Zaur added other details from discussions on some more questions:

“Presently, relationships between the clubs are on a high level progress. Actually we always keep mutual consultations with Shakhtar for many questions on teams and academy students. We feel their warm attention to Gabala also in this visitation. And mutual works are not the only point of this visit, but we are also talking about our current and future projects. Indeed it can be of benefit to take advices from Shakhtar, as a high experienced team successfully finished their plans that we are following at present”.
