Gabala Ready to Beat Sumgayit Shahar

Tomorrow, Gabala is going hold their last training ahead of the Sunday match against Sumgait Shahar in the fifteenth week of the Unibank Premier League.

Althogh some losses in our squad, which knocked Neftchala out of the competition at the Wednesday 1/8 match-up, we are still in a food form and mood to beat the next opponent.

Deon Barton, Abdulkader Kamara and Rovshan Amiraslanov will not be able to play because of injuries, and Mahir Shukurov is still under UEFA’s ban.

Fatih Kavlak suggests that, Gabala will get their three points beating Sumgait Shahar, despite the opponent possesses a team built up of young experienced players. He adds- “We are ready to the match physically and in a good mood. Our only target is to earn three points in frond of Gabala’s fan crowd. We lack our some good players. But I’m convinced my squad will not make anyone to feel this shortage playing well. The opponent are alert in defense. They are growing very important players for the future of Azerbaijan’s football. But victory from this match is very significant for us and I believe we will be the happy side after ninety minutes”.

Just cast your mind back that, Gabala won over Sumgait Shahar 2:1 in the first round of the qualifying stage at the away match.
