Gabala substitutes beat Zira 2:1 in the reserves League opener in away match keeping up their winning streak to the ninth game.
The red-black side, coached by Huseyngulu Guliyev, settled the matter in the early minutes with Ulvi Isgandarov opening the scoring in the 12th minute. The goal was his seventh of the season. And just two minutes later, Rovlan Muradov doubled Gabala’s lead – 2:0.
Zira were able to score back only one goal on 67 minutes when Vusal Isgandarli shot penalty. Now Gabala are too close to their last year record of 10 victories, when they finished as the champions.
