Grigorchuk- We did a cracking job tonight

Gabala’s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks to reporters for the post-match reaction right after the 2:0 win over Qarabagh in the Azerbaijan Premier League’s 19th tour home match. The Ukrainina boss says:

“I can say only good things about the game and the fans watched a serious match of proud. Both sides played well and I’m satisfied by my team. They did a cracking job tonight. There was a good teamwork on the pitch.

Great thanks to supporters and we can’t imagine our performances without them. High-level football, a great fan support and today’s nice referee job will make the football of the country progress into better future. I wish to see this always. We are very happy to win but the more tough mission is still ahead.

I didn’t see any aggressive talk by the players to the referees. A player should not feel any fear in football and we also feel comfortable with our right display. We were prepared even more than our best.

We gave some mistakes in the half but then showed some good psychological resilience. We were perfect in our tactics. Araz Abdullayev’s performance was not bad tonight and I would not say he is going down. But, sure, he is still back from his best potential.

Rashad Sadigov also was great in the midfield. Our every forward should score thirty goals in a season. If they are unable, this mean there is something wrong to have to work on.”
