Gabala coach Roman Grigorchuhk talks for post-match reaction right after the 2:1 away loss to Sabail within the 17th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The Ukrainian boss says:
“Unfortunately this is a match we lost, but we shouldn’t have to. It was a basic failure we scored an own goal and gave up the lead. I don’t claim on my team as the tonight's loss is tied to a show beyond our best. Only in finishing moments, there were not good performances.
We can’t say how the absence of Javid Huseynov and Gismat Aliyev affected the result. We need them to be on the pitch to respond to this. We have to understand that we shouldn’t lose in absence of anyone. The team have to be built up completely so we to be able to change one or two footballers. It became a common experience that Gabala won those games which Bagaliy Dabo, Steeven Monroze and Famussa Kone come on in a starting line-up. But we took also the last match, too, without Kone and lost also this time. I would like to introduce all forwards but the legionary limit doesn’t allow us to this”.
