Gabala’s Javid Huseynov talks to gabalafc.az after the 2:0 win on Jagiellonia (Poland) within the season’s 2nd Qualifying Round of the UEFA EL. It is worth to remember his superb pass to Filip Ozobic in the box to finish for the second goal of the night. The captain says:

“Although ending with 2:0, it was a tough job just like we expected. We knew a team playing well at home would show a fast game. But the all-important was the result. Anyway, we are really happy taking the victory and round.

Following my assistance in the second goal, I like this job and try never to give such chances. I saw Filip’s wink and passed to him right away, and he was perfect on the chance.

Our team had met its next opponent Panathinaikos when I was not playing for Gabala. Now we will analyze the opponents to figure out their weak and strong points. We are ready to play against every team and will progress more after every game. Gabala were going a little behind Jagiellonia as we were not prepared well. But now the team are in a good form and I think we will be ready for the next events, too”.
