Gabala substitutes beat Inter Baku with 2:6 in the first leg away match of the 2017/18 season’s reserve league. The red-black team, coached by Elmar Bakhshiyev, opened the scoring in the 10th minute with Roman Huseynov. Going more into the half period, the team from capital Baku leveled before gabala scored two more with Farid Nabiyev and Ulvi Isgandarov.

After the restart, Inter’s Sinan Akkoy bitterly disappointed his teammates with own goal. Later on, the home side scored their second. But it was Gabala shooting in the winner with two more goals by Bakhshali Bakhshaliyev and Tural Mammarzayev.
