Now we have to focus on the matches left ahead, Zenjov says

Gabala’s Sergei Zenjov talks to gabalafc.az sharing his impression on his opener goal in the 2:0 home win over Qarabagh within the 19th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League, which put Roman Grigorchuk’s side on top of the league table again.

“It was a great show in a great atmosphere made by fans. I think they watched a perfect and quality game. It was a tough experience to both sides and I’m happy we won the three points. This was a good result of our hard work before the tie. The match was almost balanced and the only difference was that we could score two goals. I’m glad we won over a strong side like Qarabagh.

Filip Ozobi was a great part of my scoring job as he made good cross to me. His first effpred was denied by the opponents, but his second attempt wasmuch helpful for me to score from a promissing position. The most important is not who scores, but to take the victory.

Although it was of much importance, this match was not a deciding tie as we are still expected by some more events ahead. It is very nice that we were able to reduce the point difference as it would be very difficult challenge it went down to six-point-difference. Now we have to focus on the matches left ahead.

I was changed because of my injury on my knee. But it is not so strong. I will go on with the team work-outs”.
