Sotomayor reached to Olympic final

Gabala boxer Lorenzo Sotomayor hit tally to the final of the 31st Summer Olympic Games in Rio-de-Janeiro, Brazil, beating Armenian boxer from Germany Artyom Arutyunyan 3:0 (30:27, 29:28, 30:27). With this result, he made history for the boxing in Azerbaijan as the first challenger reaching up to the Olympic final.
 
Now he is going to face Fazliddin Gaibnazarov in the all-important event to start at 10:00 P.M., Sunday.
 
Challenging for the Azerbaijan national team, the 64 kg hero of the red-black club battled all the way through from the round of 32 lineup to the final first beating Vladimir Matvichuk from Ukraine, Hassan Amzil from France in the round of 16 and Yasniel Toledo López from Cuba in the round of 8.
