Gabala Football Academy gained the second title of the season as U16 won the AFFA League. The red-black team sealed in the trophy after the 3:1 home win on Qarabagh in the 29th tour. The result left the Gabala junior squad boosting their points up to 64 after 26 matches, following twenty victories, four draws and two losses. In their all 26 appearances, they scored 69 goal and conceded 18. They go fourteen points aead of their closest opponent. This appears as the fifth trophy by the U16 after seasons 2012/13, 2013/14, 2015/16 and 2016/17. They won also a silverware in both 2011/12 and 2014/15.
