Gabala’s U19 coach Emin Imamaliyev talks to media reporters right after the 1:0 away loss to Hertha within the second round of the UEFA Youth League’s Champions Path:

“We had analyzed the first match in deep and knew that the opponents played well in the flanks. This made us close these positions and we played better than the first game at home. We could have changed the course of the event if we could open the scoring after the penalty. 

It was a good experience to play head-to-head to theses opponents at their own home pitch. We may prepare better to go more ahead in the further championships.

My team were all for the victory and payed in their best. And it’s a disappointing experience leaving the contest goalless after such a good performance. Gabala held on as a tough side ahead of Hertha and made good decisions when keeping the ball”.
