Being specific with innovations, Gabala launches another first-ever project organizing a scouting team, which will step up recruiting and work for more effective results in youth development. The new body will be directed by Boyukagha Aghayev, who is well known as a football specialist in Azerbaijan. He has some assistants at the new function: Javanshir Novruzov (Baku zone), Azer Ismayilov (North zone), Teymur Huseynov (central lowland regions), Rovshan Suleymanov (south) and Firuz Gulami (Ganja).

The initiative aims to scout talents from 10 to 16 year olds and build their data base watching their performances and keeping an eye on their all further football activity. The goal is to highlight potential players in Azerbaijan and provide promising footballers all age groups. Gabala FC is encouraged by the experience of European clubs to establish the project.
