Gabala U12 were playing in the Group A where they won on Karasu (Turkey) by 2:0, and lost to Rizaspor (Turkey) 1:2, Manchester City (England) by 0:3, Galatasaray (Turkey) by 0:5, Altay (Turkey) by 0:1 and Alkmaar (Netherlands) by 0:7.

Then in the next stage, Gabala faced Al-Arabi (Kuwait) with 1:1, 2:2 and another Azerbaijan team Neftchi with 1:1, 2:2. They also followed a goalless draw against Goztapa (Turkey) that went to penalty shootout where our team took the victory. And in the last day of the tournament, Gabala defeated to Izmir Bornova (Turkey) with 0:1, Dinamo Tbilisi (Georgia) with 0:2. The cup was gained by Alkmaar.
