As the international U13 championship in Gyeongju, South Korea, got underway, Gabala Football Academy’s U13 team are in the action in the city fraternized with Gabala. The Gabala staff tripping to South Korea are being guided by Abil Aghasafov, the first deputy of the Gabala Executive Power, which visited the Gyeongju city Mayor. The city boss accepted the red-black staff with a warm welcome meeting and watched Gabala’s match. There was also official meeting between the fraternized cities’ delegates. Gyeongju’s administrative board organized a special banquet in honor to our team.
Gabala, playing in the Group E, came on four matches of the tournament. Our team beat Japan’s FC Nara in their first-leg game by 4:1 scoring with Omar Gurbanov (with two goals), Sadig Shafiyev (one goal) and Murad Musayev (one goal).
Then they lost to Selta (Spain) and Congyong (Korea) with the same result of 0:2 before winning over Ichinomiya (Japan) by 3:2. Gabala’s goals were scored by Elmir Huseynli, Okan Tahmazli and Murad Musayev.
Both Selta and Congyong are having nine points as Gabala and Ichinomiya also gained six points, but the Japan side ended the group stage third for better shots on the show.
Gabala, the fourth side of the group are going to come on their next matches, tomorrow, against Vejitto (Japan) and Tailand FC BBC (Thailand).
