Gabala”s 10 footballers are called to play for their provisional teams. The Azerbaijan national U15 invites 5 players from the red-black squad as U21 does 2 and A team does one. There are also Slovenia and Guinea national teams calling one player of Gabala for each. During the training camp in Baku from 2 to 5 September and in Novorossiysk of Russia from 5 to 11 September, Azerbaijan U19 will train with Gabala”s Sadig Guliyev, Elvin Jamalov, Elnur Mustafazadeh, Shirmahammad Mammadov and Shamil Jamaleddinov.

On 8 September, Azerbaijan U21 will come against Israel in away within the qualifying round of the European championship with Urfan Abbasov and Amit Guluzadeh of Gabala. 

Another Gabala hero is Volodimir Levin called to the Azerbaijan”s first national team. Our defender will join the training camp ahead of the Saturday away fixed against Israel in Ramat Gan within the qualifying round of the World Cup. The national team will train in Baku during 1st to 2nd September before going on in Israel from Wednesday. 

Gabala”s Dejan Kelhar from Slovenia and Oumar Kalabane from Guinea are expected to play for their national teams at matches of the qualifying round of the World Cup, where Slovenia will face Albania and Cyprus, respectively, on Friday and next Tuesday.

And skipper of Guinea Kalabane got a chance to play against Egypt in the qualifying round of the World Cup.
