FC Gabala, approaching to youth football with progressive mind, starts next great project on this mission. The club is managing the International Football Tournament of 1st Gabala Cup 2012 for U-15 that started on Wednesday to last by 4 June.

Being rich of first-time initiatives, the tournament is also going to be the first tournament organizing in Azerbaijan for the young age groups of foreign football clubs. It is, as well as, contest bringing together teams from Western Europe to Azerbaijan for first.

Top European clubs – Villarreal and Levante (both from Spain), Galatasaray (Turkey), Feyenoord (Netherlands), Brondby (Denmark), as well as Serbia Provisional Team – will be among the participants. Azerbaijan is going to be represented by Garabagh and Gabala. The initial stage will be performed by two groups of all the teams. The Group A includes Gabala, Brondby, Galatasaray and Villarreal. And the Group B will test Garabagh, Feyenoord, Levante and Serbia Provisional Team. Group matches will be played on 31st May and 1st June before semifinal and final matches fixed to 3 June.

The 1st Gabala Cup Tournament is expected to be remarkable converging well known football figures and AFFA officials together with high soccer seniors from overseas. So,
