2013-2014 season results for Gabala Football Academy

Gabala Sport Club could heat some many successes during  the 2013/2014 season.  As the First team hit bronze first-ever in their all history, the reserves gained their silver.

And there are more Gabala heroes in different age groups of the football academy. Altogether, 7 Gabala age groups could take the foothold on the line of champions with contests of AFFA, Azerbaijan”s football organization. Keeping the lead up in all low age tournament, Gabala”s only U11 stayed off their best ending at the 4th tier.

Our club hit the same record with Baku having the highest number of trophies with 3 cups for each side. They both go ahead of Baku taking only 2 victories. Gabala Football Academy gained 3 cups with U16, U15 and U13. The latter two teams finished the season only with one loss for each. While U15 and U16 of Gabala could take trophies last season, our academy struck the top place for its 3rd by U13.

Gabala also took silvers from the leagues of U12, U17 and U19. The red-black U12 came on their first domestic league and gave only one loss during the contest.

There are also 2 teams that extend hopes to provide players for both reserve and first teams.

227 goals in 26 matches – every team can envy this. But with 23 victories by all these, Gabala U14 could take only the 3rd place.

All these results reached Gabala Football Academy to 3 golds, 3 silvers and 1 bronze. It earned Gabala the title winning side again after the 2012/2014 season, when the red-black teams gained 5 golds and 1 silver in 7 leagues. 

But it is not all successes with only 7 teams as there are 7 Gabala heroes, including 4 coming out as the bests on shows. Rauf Maharramov (U12 league), Orkhan Abdullayev (U13 league), Farid Nabiyev (U15 league) and Bahlul Mustafazadeh (U19 league) were the bests of their contests. And 3 more players were capitalized to be the most productive footballers with Kamran Quliyev in U12 league, Elvin Imanly in U15 and Rovlan Muradov in U16.

 
Gabala Football Academy helped the A team reinforcing them by 5 students with Elvin Jamalov, who appeared in the squad for both league and cup games in his under 19 as a midfielder.

Totally 4 students of Gabala Football Academy got a chance to play in the Topaz Premier League. One of them, Tarzin Jahangirov, could play for both Gabala and Sumgayit during the season. Coming on just one high professional game for Gabala, he extended his first team appearances to 20. He made history for Gabala as the first student hitting success for other club. Scoring just one goal in all 18 events for Sumgayit, Jahangirov appeared to be the student coming on first team games for most during this season. 

Teymur Karimov, one of the best finds of the academy, could score his debut after his 12 games with the A team. In his 21, he reached to be the 5th young footballer scoring for Gabala in league. His goal made all Gabala students happy with the 2nd goal from the academy for the first team after Amil Yunanov hit this first 2 years ago.

In his all 4 appearances this season, Sadig Guliyev played with no replacement. The young player came on 3 premier league and 1 cup events. And there is another Gabala Football Academy”s hero other than Guliyev is Murad Musayev playing only in one cup game. In total, head coach of the First team Yuri Semin trusted academy students in 15 league and 5 cup events.
