The 1st and 2nd rounds of the 2nd Gabala U15 Cup ended. The first day run away with 8 games, where Gabala faced Shakhtar in their first leg.

The opener was made by the team from Donetsk before Nurlan Guliyev fed back in the 20th minute. He earned our team the first point. The red-black squad came on their second match to face Besiktas. The home side”s evident lead led them to beat the Turkish team in 2:0. Gabala”s goals were scored by Bakhshali Bakhshaliyev, who also plays for Azerbaijan U16 and by Turan Manafov. Bakhshaliyev came on the scoresheet by shooting home from the spot.

Another game of the group round made Barcelona the winner over Besiktas with 3:1 before the Spanish team reached to a draw against Shakhtar.

Now Gabala are ahead of the all-important match where they need to beat Barcelona to get a tally to the semifinal. In other case, we can hope for Shakhtar to lose a point in the match against Besiktas.
