Gabala ended with the 7th tour of Topaz Premier League by 1:1 against Khazar Lankaran at home. It was the 2nd home event on the trot and head coach Dorinel Munteanu made some changes after 6th tour match against Neftchi. He introduced Alexandru Benga, Andrei Cristea, Pinto Gomes Yazalde and Elvin Jamalov in the starting line-up. But Adrian Ropotan overlimiting with yellow cards, as well as Victor Mendy, Markinios and Ekigo Ehiosun stayed off the staff.

The first period of the game run by mutual attacks and Gabala could not set-up a vital threat on the other end. The visitors seemed more active with inroads into the gabala defense.

The absence of Dodo, Markinios, Mendy and Ekigo felt evidently on the forward line of the home side. The red-black side could open a real occasion threatening Khazar Lankaran only at the end of the half when no one could respond to telegraph by Cristea from the right to the box.

Then Javid Huseynov seemed close to making trouble for the opponent keeper as the midfielder headed the ball off the target from Yazalde in the left before he could not reach to the pass from Cristea in the right on the last minute of the first period. 

The restart got under way with an opening goal as Amirjanov"s throwball from the right found Yazalde in the box coming one-on-one with the keeper, but Jahangir Hasanzadeh finished clear. Then Javid reached to the ball faster than the defenders and scored his 3rd in the season. Being prompted by the goal, Gabala developed their lead into sustained period of attacks on both flanks toiling to double their lead. But they could not set-up threatening situation at the other end.

With 15 minutes left, Khazar Lankaran could gain the momentum of the course of the show. As the visitors focused on attacks, Gabala launched counter attacks and Yazalde"s cross for Javid in the box but the latter was deflected by a defender. 

Later on, during Sadio Tounkara"s pass from the right, the Gabala defensive line looked lost that led to goal by Dejan Blajevski 

The result left the red-black side having their 2nd home draw on the trot after 7 matches and they stay at the 4th stage on the league table with 11 points.
