Gabala Taekwondo Department are finishing 2014 with 3 golds, 4 silvers and 4 bronze medals from both domestic championship and cup contests.

In youth championship, Aleksandra Nazarova (52 kg) earned Gabala gold.
Ilham Aliyev (45 kg), Nijat Asgarli (63 kg) and Orkhan Taghizadeh (+78 kg) sat 2nd. Əli Məmmədov (51 kg) and Sabina Hajialiyeva (59 kg) finished by bronze. Gabala”s youth team ended in the 5th.

Senior team developed their account with 2 golds, 1 silver and 2 bronzes sitting 3rd.

Member of youth group Mahammad Mammadov, 58 kg, who is both European and world champion, finished on top. Another Gabala hero taking gold is Jeyhun Hasanli (+87 kg).

With elders, the only silver was gained by Gunay Aghayeva (53 kg) as Vusal Mammadov (54 kg) and Elvin Mammadov (74 kg) hit bronzes.
