Gabala challengers won one gold and two silver medals in the second day of the international games. Judoca Aisha Gurbanly, 48 kg, won silver medal beating Ayah Kitane (Jordan) in the semifinal before losing to Erdenebat Bazarragcha (Azerbaijan).
Another Gabala judoca Kifayat Gasimova took a silverware defeating Yusra El Buhari (Morocco) in the round of 16. Then she beat also Kseniya Beldiagina (Kirghizstan) progressing into the semifinal where she won also over Zuleykha Dabonne (Ivory Coast). Gasimova lost to Ratiba Tariket (Aljazeera) in the final.
Gabala boxer Kamran Shahsuvarly, 75 kg, took the round of 16. He won over Desmond Amsterdam (Guyana) with 5:0 just ahead of the next tie against Ihsan Ardoghan (Turkey) fixed to Tuesday.
Another red-black boxer Rauf Rahimov, 81 kg, took the round of 16 beating Hafidz Adli Mohdu (Malaysia). Now he is going to face Ali Khanla (Pakistan) Tuesday.
Another gold winner karate challenger of Gabala other than Rafael Aghayev is Niyazi Aliyev, 67 kg, beating Nasir Ahmad (Pakistan) by 4:0 in the round of 16. Then he won over Ali Elsavi (Egypt) with 0:2 in the final.
