The Gabala A team have had a trial match against U19 of the club, today, within the preparation to the 13th tour match against Sumgayit fixed to Saturday, November 21. As some overseas footballers are playing for their national teams now, and some others are injured, head coach Roman Grigorchuk gave the reserve squad a chance of joining the first team.

The Ukrainian boss lined up the first team as the following:

Andrey Popovich, Vitaliy Vernydub, Rafael Santos, Gismat Aliyev, Ricardinho, Oleksiy Gai, Derlis Meza Colli, George Florescu, Oleksiy Antonov, Samir Zargarov, Vagif Javadov.
The A team won 4:0 over U19 scoring 2 goals for each half. The senior squad opened the scoring in the 35th minute with Florescu.

Five minutes later, Oleksiy Antonov doubled the first teams lead over the youth of Huseyngulu Guliyev. With more minutes into the game, Grigorchuk made some changes introducing David Pietrzkievic, Asif Mammadov, Ramil Hasanov, Ehtiram Shahverdiyev, Murad Musayev, Vugar Nadirov, Shamil Jamaladdinov and Vadim Abdullayev.

The 3rd goal to the U19 net was scored on 65 minutes when Floresku sealed in his double. And after the final goal by Asif, the game ended in 4:0.
Now the senior squad will take on their next training session tomorrow at the Gabala City Stadium.
