Gabala”s sambo fighter Bakhtiyar Abbasov earns a bronze medal for the Azerbaijan national sambo team in Moscow of Russia giving no chance of a point to his opponents before being forced to leave the Anatoly Kharlampiev Memorial tournament which is a stage of the SAMBO World Cup. Going by cleansheet victories, he was forced off after warning in the semifinal against Russian Viktor Osipenko.

The championship in the Luzhniki Olympic Complex was joined by 300 challengers from 35 countries.

With this award, Abbasov sealed again his candidature from Azerbaijan to the 1st European Games to be held in Baku in June 2015.
