Gabala”s defender Ruslan Abishov talks about the 7:0 win over 1st Division team Mil Mughan in the home match within the Azerbaijan Cup round of 16. He says:

“Sure, the opponents were not so strong, and we took the victory that was much important for us. It was not difficult to hit the next round. And it was just a simple goal that found a chance to score on a common occasion. I went much close to scoring also in the game against Ravan last tour. But this time it worked out a good result.

I felt some pain on my foot rising up from an earlier injury and was changed in the 28th minute in my request. It is not so much serious problem and I feel OK now to attend the preparations to the next tour event.

Now the next match coming up is against Khazar Lankaran to be held in Lankaran, Sunday. It will be difficult, but we have to keep winning. We will train in more than our best for the victory”.
