Gabala beat Simurg in the 29th tour of the Topaz Premier League to strike their 6th win in a row within the season. The winner goal of the red-black side was scored by Ruslan Abishov hitting 11,000th of all the domestic premier league seasons since 1992. Abishov shares his impression on the success talking to gabalafc.az:

“Now the team are getting better in their form. I believe all are going to be ok and we come on every match just for victory. Beating Simurg, we could reach to our 6th victory. Taking the win was the most important on our show and I feel happy being a part of the victory. And it is really gratifying to know that I reached to be the one scoring 11000th goal off all the domestic premier league seasons. I give up this goal to our all fans.

But we still need to work out harder and take more wins from the last 6 of the tournament if we are to stand any chance progressing into the European Championship”.

It is worth to notice 12 of all the 11000 premier league goals were recorded in Abishov”s account, including 4 for Gabala.
