Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan wrote a letter of thanks to the administration of the Gabala Sports Club on high-level organization of the 2nd Gabala U15 Cup from 28 May to 2 June this year. The letter addressed to the SC Gabala”s president Tale Heydarov from the Secretary General of AFFA Elkhan Mammadov goes as the following:

Dear Mr. Heydarov,

As Azerbaijan is driving different significant measures and large projects to develop the football in the country, it is gratifying to see SC Gabala as one of the participants in the process. While the age groups of your club are seen grinding out high results in leagues of AFFA, it gives much better idea of how strongly SC Gabala approaches to youth development.

The club is well seen also on improving the international relationships of football of Azerbaijan as you organized the second international tournament for youth, Gabala Cup, bringing together some outstanding clubs of Europe. Being a good endowment to the football development in Azerbaijan, the tournament, as well, helps better to disseminate the country also as a land of sports.

We congratulate you on your successful organization of the cup and wish you bests to keep this high level on the way of the traditional tournament also for the future. And we appreciate SC Gabala on making an endowment to the development of football in Azerbaijan.
