Ukrainian midfielder Aleksey Gai talks to gabalafc.az sharing his impression on the 1st game 1:1 against Apollon in Cyprus within the 3rd Qualifying Round of the UEFA European League last Thursday.

“The 1st match satisfied us with a good result. I think we gained this by showing a good performance in Cyprus. But Gabala did not play in their best against Apollon and you will watch better shows by us in the further matches. This away event should be a power to our one go more ahead in the European League.

We are preparing to the return game against Appollon really seriously. Although we finished in a good away result, I think the chances are balanced now. The match in Baku will not be an easy event as both sides are already well known to each other. With the warm support of the local fans, we are having a great chance of playing better to strike the next round”.
