Azerbaijan’s SC Gabala boxer Alfonso Dominguez took the champion title of the Minsk 2019 2nd European Games in Belarus. The 81-kg challenger beat Stefan Hrekul from Ukraine in the round of 32 with 3:0, Mikhail Dauhalyavets from Belarus with 5:0 in the round of 16, Ziad El Mohor from Belgium with 5:0 in the round of 8 and Simone Fiori from Italy with 4:1 in the semifinal. Reaching up to the all-important fight, the Gabala hero won on also Benjamin Whittaker from Great Britain with 3:2 at the Urechye Arena. He earned both multisport winner and continental champion titles.
