Ruslan Amirjanov, playing for both SC Gabala and Azerbaijan national team, underwent surgery at Acibadem Fulya Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey. The medical operation run successfully by trauma surgeon Dr. Omer Tasher who says the 29-year-old midfielder might be able to go back to the pitch after a month.

He was suffering from meniscal tear over 2 months after training camp in Germany ahead of qualifying round matches of Euro 2016 Cup against Italy and Croatia.
