Antalya training camp helps U16 much developing, Halim Fıcıcı says

"We have had really beneficial camp. Both coaching staff and players worked by their much efforts building up their experience. Although we played well at testing games, the results appeared not satisfying us. But as we said before, the result is not the matter. The all-important is to see the players fitting to our game system and working hard to respond the tasks. We faced to teams from Scotland, where players are known to be much strong. Some of the reasons to our defeats can be explained with their physical possession and the rivals being one year older. But at tactics and techniques, we are not behind the Scottish teams".

These are said by the Gabala Football Academy"s head coach Halim Ficici. He talks to gabalafc.az on the Antalya training camp of Gabala U16. The youth skipper adds:

"The camp gave much experience to our young players. It was their first experience against Scottish Hibernian and Celtic. The Antalya training camp helps them much developing their international football practice. During home works, we talk to them about such strong teams and try to make them understand the ways how to struggle with such arch rivals. Meeting such strong squads at pitches allows our players to learn more about the international football".
