Gabala boxer Zamig Atakishiyev highlighted Azerbaijan in Krasnodar of Russia beating Tornike Purichamiashvili from Georgia. The 30-year old challenger was unbeaten in his all two previous experiences with wins before, while his opponent was clear with eight victories. In a heavy weight match at the Olympic Sport Palace, he fought in six rounds and became as the better boxer after a judgement by the referee staff.

This was Atakishiyev”s third win after beating Russian Vladimir Goncharov by knockout on July 31st and Viktor Chvarkov from Belarus with a judgment of referees on August 26.
