Although some hard losses in the squad, Gabala started faster led to 1st threat with Sergei Zenjov”s pass to the box where Samir Zargarov failed to touch. Then the opponent keeper denied Zenjov”s powerful shot before his teammates were unable to finish the counter attack.

In the 31st minute, keeper Dmitriy Bezotosny gave a great save to Gabala before we opened the scoring just ahead of the half-time after penalty for foul on Zargarov in the box. Gai podded in – 1:0.

In the 2nd period, Aleksey could have doubled Gabala”s lead with a wide header.

Substitute Aleksey Antonov looked much close to scoring the 2nd but he was denied by the keeper. And it was red-black side anyway being able to shot in the winner on 76 minutes with Antonov fired in by a powerful shot in the box.
