Gabala lost to AZAL 2:1 in away within the 27th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League failing to keep up the unbeaten run of the last 5 outing events against the club from capital Baku.

Gabala started faster and looked passionate for 3 points with quick attacks. Roman Grigorchuk”s side went one ahead by Oleksiy Gai after his precise penalty. The goal was registered as the 10th in all league appearances of the Ukrainian midfielder.

Gabala stepped up their inroads into the AZAL defense but they were unable to double their lead in the second half.

Later on, the home side scored to level with Tural Humbatov before Murad Sattarly put his team one ahead by the all-important goal of the show.

The result left Gabala ending with the 3rd round at the 5th place by 41 points.
