Gabala coach Elmar Bakhshiyev talks for a post-match reaction right after the 2:1 away victory on Zira within the 19th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The 40-year-old skipper says:

“Both Gabala and Zira are in difficult condition after the winter break. But today’s show makes us believe in the upcoming matches to be better. The past games satisfied me and the coaching staff. But there were no good results. Now we are happy to be able to show our best on the pitch.

The first period went really fine as the team responded well to the tasks. After the restart, we had to push into more risks.

Abdelrafik Jerar was injured in the preparation and stayed off the pitch tonight. This team can play better in their good potential and we proved this today. There some footballers left us and they were replaced by others that needed time to adopt the team.
