Azerbaijan’s SC Gabala judoka Gulshan Bashirova has heat the World Junior Judo Cup silverware in the 48-kg match in Almaty, Kazakhstan. She was a part of the national team won on China Taipei in the round of 16 and Australia in the round of 8. Then in the semifinal, the national squad beat also Russia before loosing to Japan in the all-important final.

The result left the national youth team taking the second place for their first time ever in the world cup.
