Gabala are extending their clean-sheet victory to the eighth match after beating Kapaz (2:0), Inter (0:0), Neftchi (8:0), AZAL (3:0) and Sumgayit. The red-black side of Roman Grigorchuk made it through all 17 goals in six games. Gabala keeper Dmytro Bezotosniy is staying clear after the last eight events, including final two of the previous season against AZAL (2:0) and Kapaz (1:0). He conceded his last goal in the 32nd minute of the match against Qarabagh on May 11th this year. Now he has been holding on for 778 minutes. The Ukrainian breaks his own record of 727 minutes registered in 2010, when it was the second run after our team did not concede any single goal.
This time he grabbed a chance, by, of getting a foothold in the list of keepers, composed by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics, who are clear at least 660 minutes. Now the Gabala keeper is just a few matches from the next record of the club.
Sitting ninth in the history of Azerbaijan competitions, he goes 174 minutes behind Gabala”s another hero fifth-place Pavel Dorosev. The latter had sealed his record in 2010 by 952 minutes.

- Gabala are the third side conceding no goals in early 6 legs after Dynamo could hit the title in the 1998/99 season and Khazar Lankaran in the 2010/11. Dynamo”s clean-sheet run was broken in their seventh match while Khazar Lankaran conceded only in their eighth.
- Gabala are just one match from the same title with Khazar Lankaran.
- Theo Weeks scored his maiden double in the match against Zira, also opening his scoring for Gabala in the domestic top-flight. He arrived to be the 28th player with double hitting the 41th ever in the club”s history.
