Gabala lost to Borussia Dortmund 4:0 in the 4th tour away of the UEFA EL group C.
The match started by quick attacks from the home side, but they were unable to cut through the Gabala defense in the early minutes. Then Roman Grigorchuk”s squad made their inroad into the Borussia defense before Sergei Zenjov”s poor kick failed to find the net as he fell down in the box.

The German side”s next attack set up a more pulsating threat with Pierre Emerick Aubameyang coming one on one with David Pietrzkievic, and the Gabala keeper denied the ball before Gonzalo Castro replied wide off the post.

The red-black keeper held on for further minutes into the game giving some more saves to his team, but he could stand clear only up to the 28th minute when Marco Reus”s 20-meter drive put Borussia one ahead.

Then just before the half-time, Aubameyang doubled Borussia”s lead.

The German side set again faster attacks after the restart and the post denied Dortmund on some moment. Later on, 2 more goals were scored in the favor of Borussia with own goal by Sergei Zenjov before Henrikh Mkhitaryan reached Borussia”s lead to 4.
