The Baku Junior International Boxing Championship, dedicated to the 90th birthday of Azerbaijan"s late national leader Heydar Aliyev, is reaching to the end. The Gabala Sport Club"s Nijat Muradly, 80 kg+, earned the gold. He beat a boxer from Ukraine in the final after  defeating his Hungarian and Kazakh opponents on the trot.

The tournament was attended by 131 sportsmen also from Turkey, Georgia, Uzbekistan and Israel. On aggregate medals, Azerbaijan national team gained their 8 gold medals altogether with 4 silvers and 3 bronzes. Azerbaijan got the 1st place as Ukraine did the 2nd just ahead of Uzbekistan.
