Celebrating New Year - who, where, how?

As New Year is the loveliest holiday on Earth, Gabala are joining to millions of people celebrating the great anniversary. Many players from different parts of the world converged on our club with their various traditions of celebrating the holiday. Now it is time to ask our both native and foreign players to talk about how, where and with whom they will welcome 2013. What do they expect from the new year, also wish for both themselves and Gabala fans?

Anar Nazirov: "I will be with my family to celebrate the New Year holiday and our national Solidarity Day in Gakh, my birth land. For almost overall year, I can not see my family and holidays or short brakes are my best chances to see them. Following my wishes on 2013, they are about my career. I will justify myself in the coming year. I want to be a part of Gabala"s successes that could lead us to the Eurocup matches. I believe and will make my debut also in the Azerbaijan national team, God willing. I appreciate all Gabala fans that always back us both with victory and loss. We will satisfy them with our better performances in the new year and aim to gift Gabala"s tally for Europcup matches to them.

Rashad Abdullayev: "I will be with my family for the holidays maybe in any of foreign countries, God willing. When my kids were infants it was hard to go out, but now it seems a bit easier to take them to abroad for a good holiday trip.
I do not like to celebrate the New Year"s Holiday by a so much noisy feast. It is far from my nature. I prefer to meet the new year jus with some friend families.
I wish my country  peace and welfare, as well as let my national people got relief in their all problems. If you reach to be off your problems, you feel easy to focus on your job and works. I wish for myself to keep my successes go on also at Gabala in 2013. It is almost 6 months I have been playing for Gabala and the fans really make me to be happier with their warm support. We will try and ground out victory joys to our fans in the new year".

Yashar Abuzarov: "I will get into the new year with some people in Baku. I wish Gabala to play in the Eurocup matches in 2013, God willing. This is my football desire. Following my personal life, I aim to put an end to my singleness in the new year. I also wish our fans to go always and support us forever. God bless them!"
 
Muammer Erdoghdu: "I missed my family and fiancee and will celebrate the holiday in Istanbul with them. This is best feast for my during the holiday.
I longing 2013 to be advantageous for all Islam people in the world. Let them live happy, peacefully and healthy the new year. I desire Gabala to get into the top six of the league table to earn a tally to the Eurocup matches, God willing".

Lourival Assis: “I will meet the new year in Brazil with my family. We usually congratulate each other at a holiday dinner. I wish good health for my family and much more successes in both my personal life and career in 2013. I am convinced that we will seal Gabala"s great record in 2013 digging into one of the best results. Deus  abençoe! (God bless you!)"

Dejan Kelhar: "I will celebrate New Year"s Holiday with my wife Maya and sons -- 4-year-old Galos and 2-year-old Philip. We also will join my parents, sister, brother and close friends. I much missed all of them for long period of years. We actually do not do anything special in the eve of the New Year"s Holiday. We only make feast in the last day of the year with different tasty meals and drinks for a holiday dinner. We dance, talk and sing a song. Just in the our mark, we open champagnes and cheer each other. I have two wishes but let me reveal only one: Let no one in the world suffer from starvation in 2013. I desire good health to the Gabala fans and their families, also desire our best results that will make them real happy. SRECNO NOVO LETO!  (Happy New Year!)"

Luis Paulo Hilario (Dodo): "I am going to meet the new year in Copacabana city of Rio de Janeiro with my friends, and also girl friend. I would be a champion of Gabala in 2013. And, I congratulate the all Gabala fans on the holiday".

Daniel Lopes: "I will welcome 2013 in Brazil with my family as I always do in every holidays. My greatest wish about the new year is to become a champion. I would much like to reach to this joy with Gabala. But my contract with the club is ending in the next year. Sure I would like to extend the period of the document. The Gabala fans are incredible, they prompt us to win in full time of 90 minutes. I wish Gabala to be able to make them happy with our best results that they expect from us".

Diego Costa Silva: “I will celebrate the arriving of 2013 with my family in city of Torres located in South of Brazil. During the holiday"s days, we will go to see our parents, close relatives and friends. We usually lay some tasteful table for the holiday supper and like to cheer and say our best wishes to each other. Then we go to the seafront to see the salute.
I wish the upcoming year brings welfare to all people on Earth. Let 2013 be the year that will take all wishes and aims of Gabala to truth in 2013.
