Gabala will meet Apollon in the 3rd Qualifying Round of the UEFA European League as the rivals beat Trakai (Lithuania).

The red-black side will come on the st match in away against Portuguese Pedro Emmanuel”s team on Thursday, 30 July, before the return match on 6 August.

Created in 1954, Apollon plays for the city of Limasol. Their home ground Sirion stadium holds 13331 seats.

They took Cyprus League in 1990/91, 1993/94 and 2005/06, as well as 7 domestic cups (1965/66, 1966/67, 1985/86, 1991/92, 2000/01, 2009/10 and 2012/13).

They also earned Cyprus Super Cup in 2006.

Their first-ever experience in the European League dates back to 1986/87 to hit the first round win in 1990/91.
