Gabala are going to face Kukesi (Albania) in the first trial match of the Slovenia training camp tomorrow. The match will kick-off at 8:00 pm. AZT. This is the tenth game in Slovenia ever after preparation camp in 2012 and 2014. There was also UEFA EL match against Maribor in Slovenia. 

Gabala, coached by Sanan Gurbanov, are going to face an Albanian side for the second time after a trial match against Partizan in Turkey in winter 2017 when the victory was taken by the Albanian team. Tomorrow’s opponent club was created in 1930 in the city of Kukesi. The team spent the most of their years in lower divisions and reached to Super League only in 2012. They played in six seasons and gained an image of a permanent winner over the period ending all the Super League games in the top three places. They won four silverwares, one bronze medal and a single season trophy. The opponent side ended the last season as runners-up progressing into the UEFA EL. They also are having trophies of domestic cup and super cup, as well as 5-season UEFA tournaments. The team’s best success appears to be UEFA play-off. 

It’s worth to notice Gabala’s Rauf Aliyev played for Kukesi as his last club over the first half of the season when he scored four goals in his all eighteen appearances.
